Water and Sewer System Engineering and Consulting

Engineering Management, Inc. has contracted with The Town of Braselton for water and wastewater and general engineering for over 25 years. EMI has successfully implemented over 80 projects for the Town including two major wastewater treatment facility expansion programs, eight wastewater collection system projects and five major water system expansion programs.
More recently, in connection with a $15 million bond issue program, a wastewater treatment facility enhancements program was completed including process improvements, a new lab and control building and an equipment maintenance facility. In addition, a $4.5 million sewer interceptor project has been completed in partnership with the City of Oakwood. This project consisted of some 5 miles of 12” to 30” sanitary sewer and a 6 MGD pumping station. In addition to water, sewer and reuse systems, EMI also assists in managing the Town’s MS4 Compliance and reporting and the ongoing watershed protection program.
EMI is also responsible for The Town’s water and sewer standards and is the Town’s delegation of review Engineers for the review of water and sewer extensions to the system. EMI also maintains water and sewer system as-built drawings and a hydraulic model of the water and sewer systems.
EMI has facilitated several GDOT utility relocation projects for the Town and has completed seven major similar projects involving water, sewer and reuse water systems.
