This CAD Technician will be led by Project Managers on a team consisting of multi-discipline design engineers focused on the production of design phase deliverables including reports, design manuals, plans and profiles, sections, details and specifications. The CAD Technician must work well in a team environment, be proficient in AutoCAD and have strong communication skills.
 
Requirements
·         0 or more years of entry-level drafting experience in a professional setting
·         Proficient in AutoCAD, Microstation, and GIS mapping
·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
 
Preferred Skills-
·         Water main and sewer main design (but not mandatory)
·         Water and Wastewater Plant design (but not mandatory)
·         Working knowledge of GIS software
·         Degree, Diploma or Certificate in CAD drafting or design
·         Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  

Must have sufficient English skills to compose correspondence, proofread documents, and effectively communicate with supervisors, other technicians, and clients.
