Principals of Engineering Management Inc. have worked with the City of Woodbury, Georgia, for over three decades. The City of Woodbury has developed and improved its water system in numerous phases. The most recent improvements consisted of improvement to the .750 MGD water treatment plant including renovation of filters, equipment and other upgrades meeting the needs of the Safe Water Drinking Act.

Assignments also included improvements to the distribution system including complete renovation of the downtown areas of the water system which had been in place and service for almost 80 years, and improvements to the outer limits of the distribution system experiencing low pressure. This portion of the project included the construction of a new 250,000 gal. elevated water tank, approx. 15 miles of 12”, 10”, 8” and 6” water main and appurtenances.

Auxiliary assignments also included assistance in re-permitting the water treatment plant and water withdrawal permit which required a Watershed Protection Plan, a Water Conservation Plan, a Drought Contingency Plan, and similar documents.
